Class Descriptions 

Beginning Dramakinetics (ages 18 months to 3 years)
These 45-minute interactive classes for toddlers and their caregivers are designed to foster socialization and develop fine and gross motor skills, as well as encouraging language and cognitive development. 
Class size: Up to 20 children
Class fees: 8-week course -- $80*; 5-week course -- $50*

Dramakinetics I, II, III, IV, and V
These hour-long classes facilitate interaction among class participants.  Age-appropriate activities are used to increase language and cognitive development, as well as to encourage the children to use their fine and gross motor skills.  Specific developmental goals can also be incorporated into the class routines for individual children.  Classes also meet select requirements for state and national performing arts education standards.
Class size: Up to 12 students. 
Class fees: 10-week course -- $120*; 5-week course -- $60*

Multiple child discount -- If a family has more than one child enrolled in classes, the first child's fees are at full price, and fees for additional children are discounted. Please see the Payment and Registration form for details.

FALL SEMESTER 2008 -- 10-week courses

Class Times:

Beginning Dramakinetics (18 months – 3 years old**)
6:30 PM -- Tuesday evenings at RHC (NOTE: 8-week course begins on Sept. 16th)

Dramakinetics I (3 – 7 years old**)
5:30 PM -- Tuesday evenings at RHC
5:30 PM -- Wednesday evenings at RHC
9:30 AM -- Saturday mornings at the Madisonville Arts Center
1:00 PM -- Saturday afternoons at the College Conservatory of Music (NOTE: This class is part of the University of Cincinnati's College Conservatory of Music College Preparatory Program. Please register for this class on their website.)

Dramakinetics II (7 – 11 years old**)
10:30 AM -- Saturday mornings at the Madisonville Arts Center

Dramakinetics III (11 – 14 years old**)
5:30 PM – Monday evenings at RHC

Dramakinetics IV (14 – 18 years old**)
6:30 PM -- Monday evenings at RHC

Dramakinetics V (18 years and older)
6:30 PM -- Wednesday evenings at RHC

** Ages are approximate, as we place students in classes based on their abilities as well as their age. We work hard with parents and caregivers to find the best placement for each participant.
